Growing up around the ring, Deanna started taking an active part of showing at a young age. She began showing her Akita, Lady, in Junior Showmanship and quickly became the number one junior handler in the country! As she grew, so did her passion for handling. In her late teens and early 20’s she apprenticed under one of the country’s top handlers. Now, all grown up and on her own, Deanna is actively handling several clients dogs from both the United States and Canada!

Kisser and Deanna have just started out and have already won a Canadian Group 1 and a 3 point major back home in the States!

Deanna showed Dahlia at the Shiba National in California and won a very competitive 6-9 month puppy bitch class! As a team they also placed second in the 6-9 month sweeps at the National. On Friday before the National, they placed second in the regular classes and fourth in the sweeps class at the Shiba Speciality! This dynamic young bitch is owned by the MR2 group!
